Building people, places and opportunities

Fatima Perriman learned to read in her local school, under the shade of a tree. She paid for her own education by running small businesses from the age of ten, and at fourteen set up evening classes for local children.

Years later, staying in an Accra hotel on a family holiday, she saw how many Ghanaians living abroad, returning travellers and visiting families needed somewhere welcoming, safe and personal. The family home she set out to build became Perriman Hotel, the first company in the group, and everything since has grown from the same idea: businesses that serve people and give something back.
